Program

The Connecticut Sea Grant Extension Program (SGEP) provides technology transfer to diverse marine resource users, outreach relating to coastal and marine issues, and applications of recent technological advances to aid coastal and maritime industries.

The overall goal of Sea Grant Extension is to effect change by having individuals, groups, or institutions use science-based information. Extension educators disseminate science-based information using a variety of outreach methods including organizing workshops, producing technical bulletins, etc.
